I'm no football guru, but it seemed to me DT was running very slow. Wonder if he was being careful.

From the first time I saw him I didn’t think he had a Top Gear or maybe a gear and a half. He’s a very good runner, but he won’t solve our explosive play problem.

I thought the same.

I wonder if it was a situation of him being cleared to play by the medical staff, but it's maybe still bothering him a little or since he's been recovering it's not back to 100%? I know that for a lot of less severe injuries, you can be cleared to go back to full activity but still be feeling the effects of the injury. Kinda a balancing act of not waiting too long to get back into full activity so that muscles don't weaken or lose mobility, but also not jumping back into things too early.

Right now, I'm optimistic that over the next game or 2 we will see him get back to his "full speed" that we saw last year.
