Gophers Bowl Projections: Week of 11/16

I really don't care what bowl game we are in but we need to play well and win! It has always been my opinion that if you are not in the big game it doesn't really matter what game your in. I know that isn't a popular thought but a bowl game is about ending the season strong heading into the offseason recruiting and work out programs. I would much rather play a PAC12 team and get a win than play an SEC and lose. Not saying we can't beat an SEC school but I am saying the win is far more important than who we play especially if it's against a major5 school.

Any loss is a bad loss and in a bowl game it's often the lasting image of a season.

I don't disagree with the bold, and I was livid with our performance against Syracuse all offseason. I just want our attitude to be: "we will beat whoever gets put in front of us" and not "let's hope we get someone we can beat".

I want to in into a better bowl. Not back in to any due to other teams losses. I too think we can beat many good SEC teams. That is my preferred match up. LSU, Auburn, Missouri all sound good to me.

I don't want anything to do with Auburn, but I'll go toe to toe with Missouri or LSU.
