Very nice late in the season. We need a Wisconsin in to hang on to it. We have some big names nipping at our heels. I shall savor this for now.

We will beat the Badgers at home.
 

Texas plays a top 15 okie state team next week, Georgia plays a top ten Auburn team next week, Miami plays a 6-2 Duke team next week, Arizona st plays a former top 25 Oregon state team next week and #18 LSU plays a top 15 Texas A&M team, LSU would have 4 losses of it loses next week, all games to keep you're eyes on next week if we want to crack the AP top 25, BCS top 25 and move up in the coaches polls, although it will be hard to crack the BCS polls with how the computers think of us

2008 I believe? After the Illinois/Purdue wins. Followed by a loss at the dome against Northwestern and they were quickly out of the rankings until now?

We dropped after the NW game (#17) but we were still ranked going into the Michigan game...

The Gophers were ranked 20th in 2008 when they lost to Northwestern on November 1st. The poll was done on October 26th though.

The last time we were ranked in a November poll was in 2003. We were ranked as high as #19 going into the last regular season game at Iowa. Finished 17/20th that season after the bowl game.

They were also ranked 24th on October 30, 2004 when they went to Bloomington and "spit the bit" and lost to Indy 30-21.
