This would be the most Minnesota Sports Team result possible. We win the Big Ten for the first time in over 50 years..... and don't go to the Rose Bowl

Couldn't go to the Rose Bowl regardless because it is one of the two CFP Bowls this year along with the Sugar Bowl. Only way would be finishing in the Top 4 and winning the B1G Championship. We can win the B1G Championship, but we won't be finishing in the Top 4 of the CFP rankings either way, so it is a moot point.

Yes, it would be a crime against college football, but it is what it is. I would cherish that Fiesta/Peach/Cotton bowl trophy as if it were a Rose Bowl trophy, but it wouldn't be the same.

won't lie -- looked at airfare yesterday. already moved family thanksgiving to friday so I can go see TCU at Texas thursday. Hard to choke up $400 in airfare alone with the possibility of an insanely expensive bowl season. will be there in spirit. good luck!
