Amazing ending to a fantastic season.

Jumped Notre Dame. Michican't only fell 1 spot. Texas is #25.
 

Highest AP ranking since 1962, when we were also 10th. That team went 6-2-1 but was jobbed out of a 7-1-1 record and the Big Ten title when an official named Jones called a roughing penalty on Bobby Bell after his perfectly clean tackle on Badger QB Vanderkelen fluttered up in the air behind the line of scrimmage and was grabbed by a MN tackle, ending Wisconsin's last threat. Gophers would have won 9-7, but the call, followed by another on an enraged Coach Warmath, gave the Badgers the ball in the red zone and they scored, winning 14-9, getting the title, the Rose Bowl, and a #2 national ranking.
 



Funny we end with the same record as Penn St, who we beat head to head and yet they are one spot above us. But I'm happy with 10th. That's the best I've ever seen.

I'm okay with Penn State sliding in there while we slide in ahead of Wisc ;)
