Gopher women down Iowa

The Gopher women continued their recent roll, downing Iowa 64-58 at the Barn this afternoon.

Ashley Ellis-Milan had 21 points for the Gophers and Jackie Voigt hit four clutch free throws in the final minute to help seal the win.

The Lady Gophers are now 17-6 overall and 9-3 in the Big Ten, good for third place in the league.

And the Buckeyes fell against Michigan State, so we are now within striking distance of 1st place. Tough test coming against Purdue on Thursday. But excellent job today ladies! Nice to beat a team you got destroyed by earlier in the year.

LadyGophers are for sure in a Big10 Conference Title Race. Gotta Love It!!!!! And our LadyGophers did it with Emily and Katie going about 2 for 20 from the field. GO GOPHERS!!!!!!!!!!!
