First off, let me say I am seriously impressed by the work of the digital marketing team this year. The 'Brick by Brick" series should win some awards. The last few seasons, they were really lagging behind other programs with creating content, social media, etc. They have really stepped up their game this year. It's great to see.
With that said, I think they should use the new song from Eric Church, "The Outsiders" to promote this year's Gopher football team in some way shape or form. The songs lyrics encapsulate the identity of this team as underdogs/uncommon. They could use it for a highlight video, or even an in-game "pump up the crowd" video/song. Anyone know a way to get this idea over to them? Maybe I'm too country/rock, but this song is bad a$$, and I'd be so jacked seeing a video produced matching it to football highlights. If nothing else, have a listen.
