First look at this year's team will be a Saturday double header vs. UMD. Looking forward to seeing them in action.

I think Krapf should be OK to play. Meniscus injuries are faster recovery than other knee issues. Cassie Lindmark, the transfer catcher from Penn State should be available. And, freshman Brooklyn Jones played catcher in high school.

Lindmark had shoulder issues coming from Penn State, Forgot about Jones. I'd be surprised if we see either Lindmark or Krapf during meaningless fall games if they aren't 100%

Forgot to mention another incoming freshman catcher - Tara Wolocko from Kingwood, TX

Lindmark played the last half of the season last year. Her injury was earlier in the year. I would guess she and Taylor would play a limited role this weekend.

I think Leschber even played a few games at catcher early in the season last year.

Pretty uneventful so far, UMD out hitting us 5-3 through 3 innings, but Gophers have the lead 4-0 mostly due to free bases. Hambrick pitched the first 3 innings, Enter came in in the 4th.

No sign of Krapf or Lindmark.
