Gopher Softball 2025

I'd like to hear who Revelle had transfer into Nebraska prior to Bahl getting there. The only two I know of is Mya Felder and Cam Ybarra. All the others came after Bahl got there. And just to be clear, 4 of the other 6 grew up in Nebraska and played travel ball for Nebraska Gold. So, 5 of the 7 are Nebraska born when you include Bahl. She most definitely wasn't "killing it" in the portal before Bahl got there.
By killing it, I was referring to bringing in impact players, who were instrumental in winning a B1G tournament championship and getting the program back to the NCAA Tournament. Ybarra and Felder were huge for them in achieving both. Ybarra was an All American, but they both were key cogs in their lineup as well as great defensive players. They also brought in Sarah Harness in the portal, who was IMO their best pitcher in 2023.

Those two helped make Nebraska a desirable place to play softball again. Of course, I can’t argue against the plain fact that Bahl made it even more desirable.

Jordy's more than just pitching for them, .457 14 HR 47 RBI 21 BB/HBP 11 K is their top hitter too

Interesting discussion about Nebraska, but Minnesota is what interests me since I live here. I can't see any hope for the Gophers program without an infusion of money, more super-aggressive recruiting, more in-game creativity (only 3 SB so far in 2025!!!?!), and pitching that dominates hitters.. I seriously doubt the present 2025 coaches can accomplish any of the above.
