Never mind. Tried to do a numbers comparison between Sara G and Betsa, but it ended up without any order.
Guess they changed the RPI's
Gophers were at #11 and now have moved down a spot to #12.

Think Oklahoma moved ahead of them.
Here's the previous RPI link.

Here's a projected bracketology breakdown. Has the Gophers as the 4th seed. Showing 5 Big Ten teams getting in.

Personally, pretty excited about the Big Ten tourney. Everything goes through Ann Arbor. Michigan at home, on a 9 game streak, Betsa claimed Pitcher of the Week honors, Canfield was awarded Player of the Week. Really hope both teams get to the finals.
Michigan basically had a bye week though. You shouldn't be allowed to win a player of the week award after playing Rutgers
The honest to God truth, I typed words similar to that on the post, but took it off. Ha!
Yeah that makes sense then. 29 of our wins in teams out of top 100
As expected, a whole slew of accolades from the conference for the season.
Coach Allister: Big 10 Coach of the Year
Kendyl Lindaman: Big 10 Player and Freshman of the Year
Sara G: Big 10 Pitcher of the Year
1st team All-Conference selections:
Lindaman,
Allie Arneson
Sara
Nel Parlich
Maddie Houlihan
Second Team:
Dani Wagner
Sydney Dwyer
Sam Macken
Plus, Sam won the team's sportsmanship award while Kendyl and Sara won all-defensive honors
Interesting that Kendyl wasn't a unanimous selection for the first team, yet was named Player of the Year. Maddie was the only unanimous selection to the first team. Also, Betsa from Michigan was a unanimous first team selection, but Sara won Pitcher of the Year honors.
Congrats to all the team's award winners! Obviously, you all deserved all the accolades and we can't wait to see what you can accomplish in the postseason!
The fact that Sara isn't a unanimous first team selection ridiculous!

She deserved it to. She hit nearly .400 and is excellent in the field. Could easily be short stop if Allie hadn't joined the squad.Maybe MaKenna will play with a chip on her shoulder this weekend, being the only non All-B1G player. [emoji3]

She was very average hitting this year (which was a big strength of hers in previous years). That said, her ridiculous ERA and record is enough for anyone to know she should have been a unanimous selection. I bet the russian judge got us again...
I agree with you. That makes no sense.I don't get UL Lafayette at 3. 14 coaches 19 RPI 77 SOS 2 Off 44 Def. They don't even have the pitcher with the Vince Vaughn glasses any more
Here's a site that gives 'their' power rankings and strength of schedule. Gophers are at #61 on strength of schedule and UCLA is #1.
They also rank a team's offense and defense.

So, if the Gophers make it to the finals, does Allister go Groenewegen in all 3 games? She did it last year, but that was a different situation pitching wise.
I would stick with Fiser Saturday afternoon. She does have a sub-2 ERA.
