Huffman actually shot the 3 pretty good his first two years, the last two years he really dropped off. Not a high volume shooter from the 3 though.

Mitchell's free throw percentage is only about 43%, definitely a concern

From what I understand, you also need to file for status for employment to earn while in the US, and there's a timeframe involved.
 




I think Mitchell would be a good get, but ideally he's the type of player who would come off the bench for us IMO.

Even though he should come off the bench, I wouldn't be surprised if Fox ends up starting next year over whoever comes in from the portal.

He was productive, but it was a bad team in a bad league against a bad schedule. He'd be a good piece, but I don't think he's a starter level player in the B1G. He's a huge upgrade over Wilson though.

Does CBJ think he will play the 5? Only 6.8 listed? Garcia isn't a 5? 4 you got Garcia, Fox, Betts already? Need 2 players who can play the 5!

I hope not. Neither Fox nor Garcia can defend well at the 5 spot. We have to get a lot better at defending. Fox is fantastic at help defense but at his height can't straight up defend an opposing Big Ten center.

He's 6'8 and 240, why can't he defend the 5, he would not be a rim protector similar to Payne but straight up he should be able to defend in the middle if he is actually 6'8.
 


Huffman was 2nd on Davidson in rebounds, 1st in assists by quite a bit, led them in steals, took the most shots on the team, led in minutes played, 2nd in free throw attempts. Turns it over about as much as Mitchell with around double the assists. Hope he signs. Grab the big man Mitchell today also. Get a couple in the fold.

You have more data than I do, but low shooting percentage from three doesn’t inspire confidence in me. I think I like the Ivy guy from Cornell a bit more. But beggars can’t be choosers.

I like stat stuffers such as this guy. What I can't tell from the stats is whether he has quickness and is a good defensive player. If the answer to those two questions is yes- then take him. We need to get better on defense more than anything else..

After being in Dinkytown, Huffman visited Vandy. Someone mentioned that Utah State may also be in the mix.
