I finally listened to Nadine's interview with Kendal Shell about the hiring of Ben Johnson (from March 24th) while I tried to mow the lawn for the first time.
I would recommend everyone listen to it. Kendal and Nadine point out the tremendously positive reactions from all of the basketball community on the hire. They also talk about the style of play and the coaching experience that they think Ben will bring to the program.

I freely admit that I was one of the people that was in complete shock when they hired Coach Johnson. I was expecting one of the proven HC that we were all talking about. I was in so much shock that I started a fire Coyle thread. I now see that I was too quick to judge something that I knew very little about. Coyle took what looks like a tremendous gamble, but I think it will pay off.
I am now fully on board with the hire and like the type of players and coaches he is bringing into the U. I apologize for my earlier rush to judgement.
