Another solid pickup. Bob restoring the pipeline and with guys varying years out. Crushing the in state volume thus far

Need to see some defensemen now. Would imagine there's still room for Schneider and Fitzhenry if they're interested. Would have each of them over Jarvis at this point imo
 

We judge the football recruiting first and foremost by keeping the top Minnesota kids at home. Class of 2027 forwards:
Fitzhenry
Schneider
Sammy Nelson (ND)
Rooney (might move down)
Cullen (UMN)
Conboy (UMN)(might move up very quickly hopping Rooney and Cullen)
Jarvis (UMN)

think I'd put Rooney below Cullen and Conboy. Agree on the rest. Rooney is so hard to eval given playing at Gentry. Nelson looks like he should be a very solid player for ND, much like his brother was.

no, at least not on paper. you still need some star power. None of these guys, at least at this point, are viewed at that level.
you have the cooley, Snuggy, Chesley (2 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder) class off top of my head. depends on how you want to view classes of when they hit campus/how you count, but that Fr class also includes the Mittelstadts, Thomas, Lamb, and Kurth as well

different classes in regards to Wheeler/Kessel. Looking at roster, Okposo, Johnson 1st rounders in 06 with Fischer and Obrien (07) also being 1st rounders who didn't pan out. you also had 3 more 06 draftees in Flynn, Carman, and Barriball

05-06 was the best of em around then with Wheeler, Kessel, Stoa

Nuts that I had a class with RJ from that class. I'm old. We thought our freshman class was going to be legendary with Schroeder and Ness and to a lesser extant Sacchetti and Hansen. What we got was pain lol. Thank goodness HaulaBjugstad/Schmidt came in two years later and Rau the next to rescue our senior year.

So happy for the Cullens. Love seeing them around town so down to earth. Fargo/NDSU definitely Gophers Hockey territory NOW!

Do we know that he hasn't been offered? If not, I have to think that will eventually come. Kid is a great player and I'd love to see him wear the block M in college too.

There are 5 star recruits they should be focusing on first.

Make contact with Zimmerman but tell him you'd like to watch how he does in the USHL this year.
 



BU grabs an 07 nobody in order to get his 5 star 2009 brother, Carter Meyer. Sure he'll commit today or tomorrow.

agreed, mega numbers playing as an old kid for his class/grade which skews how people view him. Think he's getting lots of hype. UND fans have a similar approach to what bonin is mentioning. given how the pipeline looks now, this is one you wait on unless he tells you up front he's fine with playing 3 years of Jr

MA kid we have no shot at (for those who don't want to google), so spose that is their play to get him instead of BC
 


MSU replaces the Cullens with, wow, you guessed it, a 5 star recruit from the CHL.
 

UND about to fill out their roster with Ollie Josephson, a 4th rounder that was a captain in the CHL.

Not filling out the roster with a D3 player.

It’s interesting to see msu obliterating Michigan for the recruits that have historically been near Michigan locks. Years of lack of Canadian recruits are going to be a problem until we show a vested interest. I’ll be curious if he tries to accelerate and play his d-1 year there or not like McKenna or not. Otherwise with the Canadian kids it’s all going to be a wait and see to me for the next couple years

I still don’t get the obsession with puck preps star ratings tho this far out. I get we want to rank stuff and it’s fun, but to put like McKenna and Cooley on the same list as say, Kvas just isn’t a fair set of rankings then. You can’t be that far off on “5 star” talent
 



Another 5 star to Notre Dame.

At this point the U, uw, and OSU are clearly tier 2 recruiting in the Big Ten.
 



Hendrickson's 4 star younger brother chooses UMD. Not a big loss.
