Gopher Football Weekly with PJ Fleck: Episode 5 (Oct 13)

Well, a couple things are clear from watching that episode:

-- PJ definitely expects that - due to COVID - it's going to be a lot of guys rotating into the depth chart and playing this season.

-- PJ is not going to reveal anything or even speak to specific personnel or even comment on how specific guys look in practice leading up to the opener with Michigan.

The depth chart next week (and most every week) will be pretty much meaningless (which has been a theme the last couple years), but we will likely just have to tune in and see who is playing each week as PJ and the staff plan to play even more chess with this season's very unique circumstances

PJ is excited about the many life culture learning experiences taking place in his program, especially with the Help End Racism with Education program the team is leading.
He is very intimidated by Covid19 because of how innocently somebody can contract it. When they do they’re gone for 3 weeks. (In his words: “That’s half the season.”) It has to be extremely stressful to realize your players through no fault of their own might not be available on game day. And try to prepare for that with backups at the ready. Yet you still must get the reps necessary for your starters . Vicious catch 22.
Same for everybody but unreal pressure on coaches.

there's a whole bunch o' fellas that ain't gonna watch Gopher football this fall. They're over on the OTB board letting everybody know why NBA ratings are down.
