For those with inquiring minds, here are the Gopher Football renewal numbers from the ticket office:

The customer renewal rate is 92%
Season Ticket comparison is:

2012 season tickets = 28,902
2013 season tickets = 26,307

None of this includes the new season tickets they have sold for this year.

Does the 2013 figure include new season tickets sold for that year?

LOL....I'm 'guessing' no

Expect the season ticket numbers to go above 30,000 once they add in all the additional season tickets purchased by the Ticket Brokers and Street Sellers. With Iowa/Nebraska/Wisconsin on this years schedule they are expecting a big year $$$$$ selling to their fans.

Not to mention the increase in liquor sales this year with Iowa and Wisky fans expecially. By the way, Nebraska fans aren't afraid to drink.

We sadly gave up four of our six due to the relocation to Arizona. Still will make the trek for as many games as we can. Planning on the drive to Las Cruces, plus one B1G road game. I will miss a home game for the first time since 2004, which was the only one I had missed since 1999..sigh.

A move like that could cost you your seat on the Goal Line Club ;-)

Also, I am moving to Minneapolis this fall! Look for the big motion W flag hanging out of my apartment in Uptown!

Once people find out that the flag is yours, I would suggest that you not go out alone at night. :)

Thanks for fielding this question for me :).

I just found out that 860 new season tickets have been sold.

This is disappointing. I would have thought with the combination of last year's improvement and this year's schedule, numbers would at least stay flat.

I'd like to say I'm shocked. But sadly, I am not. Glad to say our 4 seats didn't become a statistic.

So we lost 2,200 season ticket holders this year....maybe I'm wrong...I'm bad at math.

Pretty simple math here:

Season Ticket Sales
2012: 28,902
2013: 26,307 + 860 = 27,167

27,167 - 28,902 = -1,735

So we lost 1,735 so far. We have a little over 3 months to sell more, so that is a fluid number.

We can count on Student Season Ticket Sales in August to narrow the gap. What was last year's Student Season Ticket Sales?

Is that supposed to be some kind of an insult or something? Save it for your next conspiracy theory letter to Rep. Bachmann, loser.

It's not worth sending her a letter. She only reads in capital letters.

But I bet her husband is secretly excited about the new law.
