Thank you for reading and responding to the previous submission. Let's try these games.

November 6, 1935
Minnesota 40 Michigan 0
Gophers get 59 and 72 yard scoring runs by a sophomore from Minneapolis who will go on to play for Green Bay (1938-1943) and earn a spot in the Packer Hall of Fame. He will be an NFL Champion in 1939 and have a 97 yard touchdown run.

October 11, 1941
Minnesota 34 Illinois 6
A sophomore back from Melrose runs 73 yards to score on the game's first scrimmage play. He was on two Gopher teams that won the Brown Jug (1940-1941) and then won two more while playing for Michigan (1943-1944). He was allowed to play for Michigan because his WWII flight training was near Ann Arbor.

October 11, 1952
Minnesota 27 Northwestern 26
With 17 seconds left, Paul Giel hits Don Swanson with a 6-yard scoring pass to tie it at 26-26. The winning extra point is kicked by a sophomore from the Iron Range who will go on to be one of the early stars of the AFL, catching 292 passes and kicking 176 field goals.

November 11, 1961
Minnesota 16 at Iowa 9
The clinching touchdown is scored when a blocked punt is recovered in the end zone by a junior linebacker/defensive end from Wadena who will go on to a 7-year NFL career with the Vikings (1963-1964) and Steelers (1965-1969).

November 20, 1971
Minnesota 23 Wisconsin 21
Murray Warmath wins his last game on a 12-yard scoring pass with 9 seconds left. It is thrown by a senior from Florida who finishes as the school's career leader in completions and passing yardage. Both marks will be eclipsed, of course.

November 6, 1980
Minnesota 31 Indiana 7
A senior from Texas has 145 rushing yards and touchdown runs of 36 and 28 yards. He will finish with 2,353 career rushing yards for the Gophers and be an 8th round pick by the 49ers but never play a down in the NFL.

November 21, 1992
Minnesota 28 Iowa 13
A sophomore from Zimmerman has 8 catches for 158 yards, including a 58-yard touchdown play. As a senior he will have a school-record 13 catches at Michigan.

October 19, 2002
Minnesota 28 at Michigan State 7
A sophomore from Saginaw has 238 rushing yards and becomes the only Gopher to have back-to-back 200-yard rushing days (he had 239 yards the previous week in a wild win over Northwestern).

October 29, 2011
Minnesota 22 Iowa 21
Gophers upset Iowa for a second straight season, scoring on a 4th down, 3-yard run with 2:48 left by a junior from Indianapolis. He was a huge recruiting get but was never allowed to develop at one position, spending time at quarterback and receiver. He will go on to an injury-plagued, 6-year career as an NFL tight end.
