He's a 6-8 kid named Calvin Godfrey. The Gophers have inquired about him. He hasn't been cleared to play by the state high school athletic league. And yes, he's talented.

Transfer from somewhere out East to HS near the Twin Cities. Originally from Milwaukee, I think.

They inquired about him as would any competant coach when a transfer comes to your city who was once committed to a D 1 program. Haven't seen him play but everything I've heard is he is not good enough to play Big Ten and was recently dumped by Wisconsin-Milwaukee, who didn't think he was good enough to play there. Also academics are a huge ?
