Two Cal players' dads played for the Vikings: Will Kapp (Joe) and Cameron Jordan (Steve). Joe Kapp is a beloved Cal icon: Rose Bowl QB, architect of "The Play", got rid of the sissy blue and inspired a generation of Cal students to effusively praise Cal like Saddam Hussein babbled on about Iraq. Will's the back up fullback and a special teams player. Cam Jordan is the starting defensive end, an excellent player and a pretty funny guy. He calls height-challenged DE Jarred Price "his fun" (from the Dave & Busters ad). Maryland fans were seriously bummed when Price recorded a sack ("our QB just got sacked by a midget!").
