Man Terps, that is.

maryland wins and we get 2 or 4 seed.

maryland loses and we get 2 or 5 seed.

We win and Maryland loses, Wisconsin gets the 5 or 6 seed.

It's not enough that we win, Wisconsin and Iowa must fail!

Scenario: Wisconsin, Maryland and Michigan State tie for 3rd.

Michigan State gets 3rd seed, Wiscy gets 4th, Maryland gets 5th.

Scenario: Wisconsin, Maryland, Michigan State and Northwestern tie for 3rd.

Michigan State gets 3rd seed. What happens below that is truly a MCF.

With Maryland and Michigan State playing on Saturday it will be nice to know going into the game where things stand. The best part of all this though is that the team is 100% in control of their own destiny which is really all you can ask for as a player and a coach. Getting that #2 seed would be awesome especially considering where this team was before the winning streak started.

Maryland winning on Saturday would remove any bit of little pressure we would have on Sunday.

Agreed on the "nice to know where we stand" part.

Man, can you remember a season with an arc like this one?
- Tied for 1st in the conference after 4 games
- Lose 5 in a row and dip down to what...tied for 2nd to last in conference?
- Win 8 in a row with a shot at the 2nd seed in the BTT

What a rollcoaster.

Big Ten Basketball is a massive jumble of teams this year. Nobody looks great and even the bad teams can be competitive on a nightly basis. Going to be very interesting to see how the conference fares in the tournament because I think expectations are going to be really low for most of the teams that get in but I echo Gopher Lady's opinion from another thread that the conference could surprise a lot of people.
