This is not going to be anywhere near the major building job that faced Brewster when he took over from Mason. It should be a disappointment to Gopher fans if they don't win at least 5 games this year. I personally expect them to win 6 games and qualify for a bowl game. There is more talent on the Gophers than most people understand. Brewster's recruiting is finally going to start paying off for Gopher fans.
That might be true, but doesn't it scare you HOW Brewster went about his recruiting?
The man recruited for a different style of offense all four and 1/2 years on campus. Think about it, Gray was recruited to run the Dunbar Spread offense. That means almost everyone that year was suppose to run the spread. Does that equal a year of wasted recruiting? Probably not, but the players are suited better for an offense we no longer run.
Next year a pro-style took over and Brewster recruited for that. Most recently, a power run offense was the goal. Perhaps Kill will be able to place his players in better positions. I believe he has told some players to look elsewhere to play because they won't fit his system.
