Gophers have ---- I think --- commitments from 7 of the top 9 MN players. Mandell still out there.

so, at this point, Gilmore is the only one they've missed on. that's a pretty good percentage.

and this gets back to the old argument - It's nice to land your in-state talent, but MN just does not produce enough top-level players to fill out a P5 roster. the Gophers are always going to have a lot of out-of-state players.

the Gophers don't have to get every good in-state player. they just have to get enough of them.

Personally, I don’t care. We got the local kids who want to play for Gophers. We missed on a kid who doesn’t want to play for the Gophers. Or, perhaps, who has to be bought to play for the Gophers. Yawn.
