I have season BB tickets and am out of step w/BT FB. My son works some hours on Saturdays, and wants to go to a football game w/his grandfather. How can it be that there are no game times listed after Nebraska?? Is gophersports behind, or is this really the state of college football - you play sometime on Saturday?

The Nebraska game time was announced a few months back and is set at 2:30, here is the GopherSports.com link:

TV dictates game times. Some are announced in June when ESPN/ABC/BTN decide some games. The games that aren't listed will be announced 2 Mondays prior to the game, Iowa kickoff will be decided tomorrow. WI and Ill will either be 11 or 230.

Not really. It allows them to schedule the best matchups for the best timeslots.

They can than take the matter to the Big Ten TV Network that works hard to market all the football games. With the profits, the Big Ten TV Network will cut checks for millions and millions of dollars to each of the Big Ten Programs. In order to cover a range of start times for TV, the times must be left flexible so that the games can be attractively packaged for the Big Ten Network, ESPN, ABC and anywhere else a Big Ten Game may ever be televised.
There really is nothing weird about it. In fact, it makes perfect sense. The Big Ten member schools need to fund ALL their athletic programs with the money that in part comes from the televised football games.

No...why would it be? I think everyone on this board pretty much reserves the entire day for college football, so it doesn't matter what time its at! Just think how you do for March Madness...this is every Saturday for us.
You'll have to come to our tailgate if you do - I miss my Moonbeam!
