It's been nearly two decades since the Tides Kristy Curry left Purdue. While she hasn't matched her Boiler success, Alabama has made four of the last five NCAA's.

Curry could always recruit, and being in the SEC she’s got a boatload of players who were highly-regarded coming out of HS. Coach P will have to have the team very well prepared. Tough go if as expected we are without McKinney but it will be interesting to see what strategies she employs to slow them down as they probably have the most overall talent of any team we’ve faced thus far.
 

Curry left Purdue just as Purdue was about to receive sanctions for both academic and recruiting violations under her watch. Never understood how she escaped punishment.

I faintly remember someone going through concussion protocol last year. It wasn't McKinney was it?

FloSports App says 5:30 for Gopher game, with South Florida Harvard at 3:20. Confusing.

Edit: When you click on Gopher game on FloSports App, says 3:20 start time.

Alabama WBB's X account says tip-off is at 3:17. I'm guessing Ohio St vs. West Virginia in the other division was at this same location and they have 30 minutes between games.
 


For whatever reason, game doesn't appear to be on iHeart app. Go to gophersports.com story on today's game and click on the listen link to get to our broadcast.
 


Can't shoot. Lot of brain fart passes and Hart keeps helping out on D when she shouldn't.
 


This team, for whatever reason cannot score against P4 level competition. It’s uncanny, are they rushing their shots?
 

Hart is really helping with the rebounding, especially several offensive boards. But we have to make shots.
 



Case here where GG and Battle is 0-4 and struggling shooting? Is Makena Christian not capable of coming in and running the same plays to get the same shots GG is getting to see if she could get hot shooting?
 

Doing well limiting turnovers (only 4 so far) and holding Alabama to 35% shooting. We just have to make shots. 2-14 between Battle, Braun and GG will create holes that will be tough to dig out of.

McKinney is experiencing concussion protocol/concussion-like symptoms. they started the next day after the Kansas game, but not are not severe. I would say less than 30% chance of playing tomorrow, but likely back Monday vs. Samford.

I was wondering what happened to her when I saw she didn’t play against USF. I watched the Kansas game and I remembered she took a good shots. Offensive is struggling without her.
