As Minnesota fans adjusted to Mallory Heyer’s “I’m leaving the team” announcement, South Florida fans were learning of 25 year head coach Jose Fernandez’s departure to the Dallas Wings. It wasn’t a complete surprise. Fernandez was one of the finalists for the Wings job last season.

Fernandez was replaced by interim head coach Michele Woods-Baxter now entering her 18th season with the Bulls. Woods-Baxter has already reached one milestone from last season’s 23-11 (13-4 in conference) team. USF defeated Duke for the second consecutive year. South Florida appears poised to remain one of the better mid-majors.

This season’s record is 3-2 with wins over FIU 81-56, LIU 79-72 and Duke 85-72 and loses to Fairfield 72-80 and UCLA 61-94 in Las Vegas.

Very importance bounce back opportunity here. USF has a tough schedule so need to make sure we get the dub.
 


Do we need another streaming service to watch the game this afternoon?
Looks like Flocollege.com is the only place to watch?
 




Will be interesting to see how many Gopher fans made the trip. Watched some of the Ohio State game there this morning, and it was a pretty empty ballroom doubling as a stadium. ESPN says 237 were at the OSU game, which seems inflated from the shots of the crowd (seats).
 





i don't think its on kfan it's on kfan + 96.7 fm if it doesn't come in you can listen through the iheart radio app
 

flohoops is 19.99 a month and you can get both games i signed up through flosports and checked flocollege instead of flohoops but i believe you can also get them through flohoops

Flosports is the absolute worst streaming service that I have ever seen. Fortunately, you can sign up and then cancel right away. We had to do this a few times when our daughter was playing, and we were not able to go for whatever reason, but the coverage is not worth the price. They struggle to get a scoreboard on the screen, half the time the announcers have no clue what is going on, and the camera work is absolutely abysmal.
 

I'm passing on FLohoops.
It'll be Gaardsy and Lea B, I'll get to hear "fake left, drive right" a few times over the next couple of days.

And, if this visit to the Bahamas is as expensive as the one was in 2021, there won't be a lot of fans. There were maybe 25-30 Gopher fans total at the one, counting family members and fans.
 



Off to a great start with Flo Hoops. While they showed the starting lineups that were missing Tori, they were talking about her stats on the season and how they're excited to see her big impact on the court today. Really glad they've done their research!

After Christian hit a three they said "only her third made three of the year" lol
 



Started out shooting well, but have struggled last 3 minutes of the 1st and so far first 4 minutes of the 2nd.
 

Same issues as last game for our Bigs. Tonga can't gaurd and makes dumb fouls and Hart cant hold on to the ball.
 


She looked fine when it looked like she was walking around bench between qtrs.
 

wonder if its her back from taking that hit in the last game? Zoey Breshers seems to be walking fine too.
 


How does Hart get tied up on almost every time she gets the ball? Just baffling she can't figure out how to pass out of it quicker.
