Well of course there is no such thing as a 'sure win', especially when you're playing on the road. And anyway, I believe that Richmond is slightly favored in this game?
What I do know for a fact is that I really enjoy watching that Kendall Anthony kid from Richmond. I mean 5'8, 140 lbs., and with athleticism and hops so much he can dunk it, and forcefully so.
Reminds me very much of a modern-day Spud Webb, but this kid can also be extremely dangerous from 3-point range such that he can actually hurt you when he's on, and at that point he becomes not just a charming novelty but an actual weapon, and he in combination with Lindsay and Allen can create problems.
I would still expect us to win, because we (in my opinion anyway) are still more talented than they, but then again, we've got a whole lot of new pieces including our coach, and this is a road game, so I wouldn't exactly bet the mortgage on it, as it is entirely possible this game might be very close or we just might get beat.
Either way, this is likely to be an up-tempo affair, as they like to force the issue offensively and press and run, as do we, whether the shots are falling or not (in both our cases). They are averaging 58 FG attempts per game, while we are averaging 60. So a rather frenetic pace, but I like it.
It's very fun, and this should probably be a really fun game.
