GAME #24: Gophers (15-8, 4-6) v. Indiana (14-8, 4-5) [BTN, 2/8, 7:15PM]

Terrible call. EE had ALL ball.

If Hammons had done that exact same play Wednesday at Purdue 100 times, that wouldn't have been called 100 straight times. Refs are just brutal to EE, and give the Gophers nothing when they're on offense.

Should have been a charge here. We're not winning this.

People keep posting about how EE is bad, Mo is so good... are points scored all anyone looks at? Because the team sucks ass most of the time when Mo Walker is on the floor.

Like that run we made at the end of the first half? Like the entire Wisconsin game?

No power forwards. Mbakwe would have been nice on this team.

And Oto gets shoved to St. Paul on that. Though some of that's on Oto.

OMG did you guys see Oto on that put back? Man is he worthless in the paint.

Oto and Joey are not near big enough for this league.

Our rebounding is god awful. These guys do not even look to box out. Horrible.

I don't want to be a broken record but let's give Buggs a shot. I seriously think he can't be any worse than Oto and King.

The lack of a rebounding power forward continues to haunt the the Gophers. The ghost of Buckles lives on.

Doubling on Ferrell was a great call.

I agree...what do we have to lose? He is so skinny, he'll get pushed around, but no more than Oto or Joey.

McNeil is becoming one of our most steady and consistent players. He does very little to hurt us and seems to contribute more and more each game.

In a reverse of the first half, it feels like we've out-played them big time, but only made up 4 points.

What do we have to give for Malik to hit a 3?

For whatever reason Malik has looked unsure of his 3's today. He had that weird hesitation that led a travel in the first half and then that last one looked odd as well, almost like he wanted to fade away a little.

Agreed. He doesn't do much on the offensive end......but he rarely makes any mistakes. His defense has looked very good. Doesn't get pushed around near the rim and is quick enough to blow past screens to keep with his man.

Yep. The fearless chucker is gone. Get him back.
