Terrible news. I have a house full of Steelers fans that will be grieving, no doubt, all grew up in Pittsburgh, at least for a number of years. RIP, Mr. Harris

How did he not have his jersey retired already?

His death comes two days before the 50th anniversary of the play that provided the jolt that helped transform the Pittsburgh Steelers from also-rans into NFL elite and three days before the team is scheduled to retire his No. 32 during a ceremony at halftime of its game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

I’ve watched the replay of the Immaculate Reception about a dozen times today. Man, is it good hearing Curt Gowdy’s voice again.
