This girl had two ACL tears. Wondered if her basketball life was over. It was not.
Her Story
 


What's their actual status right now, is there any word on when either will be cleared for full contact?

Ihnen might be ready for full contact soon but Fox will take a bit longer. What are the chances Ihnen plays for coach #3 in 2024/2025 when Ben is gone?

Ihnen has to prove he can play to continue or phase out medically. Ben? He may be guaranteed four years with three last place finishes. "He won't have had the chance to coach his recruits." You wanted local recruits...he's going to have 7 of them next year...2 freshmen, 2 soph, and 3 juniors. That'll be the test....his first opportunity.
I could see administration buying that argument along with the other reasons to be sure he gets a fair chance optically.

Almost zero. If there is a coach 3 the following year it will probably mean that Ihnen wasn't much of a help and I think both parties would move on.

Ben being B1G coach of the 23-24 year has a decent probability. This team just has to gel and play heavy D.

Don’t understand why Zay and Parker are putting themselves on social media. I guess to confirm Howie’s report they are unfit to play this year and thus sealing CBJ’s fate. Go Gophers!

All but Garcia’s and Payne’s 30 minutes are now an unknown amongst 10 teammates. Bobby can you sort out the new minutes per player at least as it looks today? Of course it will change as things progress. Wish we had more depth. Don’t forget the Lithuanian prodigy. BTW, the Lithuanian is not a race car driver.

From the summer workout thread:
Two disappointing seasons under Johnson left Gopher basketball fans frustrated with the trajectory of the program, but a speck of hope was seen after the Gophers had their first postseason victory since 2019 after winning in round one of the Big Ten tournament.

Johnson said he is on the same page as Athletics Director Mark Coyle in regards to the trajectory of the program.

“Mark is great. He understands where we’re at, he understands the process of this,” said Johnson. “When you let something bake, it tastes better.”

Ben is working on selling year four at minimum.
