Ya, eliminating walk-ons is sad. Wrecking a lot of kids dreams. And I'm guessing a lot of them went on to lead very successful lives through the experience they lived.supposedly they have 150 kids that were with the program this year in some capacity (this is listed on their team roster on the school website). they're gonna have to trim a bit
Ackahdemicks?Probably same reason he had only 1 P4 offer.
Man, I forgot about Zach Evans and had to look him up after reading your post. He ended up at North Texas, was suspended the first two games of the year, got a few carries in the next two games, and has no stats the rest of the year. Man, I was bummed when he transferred but it became clear after they landed Major that Evans would’ve gotten almost zero run this year. Turns out, he got almost zero run at UNT.The Gophers had expectations that Mo, Bucky, Ky Thomas all would be back and already had a commitment from Zach Evans so it might have just been a situation there wasn't room for him even if they liked him. His best offer until Nebraska came in very late was Western Kentucky.
Or maybe gender correction to Miss Football!Ackahdemicks?
Because now we know he's a Big 10 level athlete when we didn't beforehand? This seems obvious, theres a lot of tape on him at this level now when there wasn't before and it was speculation. We didn’t recruit this kid out of HS, why would we do so now?
Someone who has kids and went digging in the couch cushions!Nebraska must of found some money lying around.
