Former Gopher, Norries Wilson, fired as HC at Columbia after 1-9 season

I have an old buddy of mine that works for the Columbia Athletic Department and he said that he heard rumors about this last week and the rumors heated up after losing to Princeton and getting shut out by Dartmouth. Supposedly, he did not do a good job with working with the boosters. He was a big fan of Norries and thought he was a great guy to work with.
Also, he said that John Gutekunst has cancer as well. Gutey was the LB coach for Norries at Columbia.
From what I have heard, there number one prospect for the next coach is the coach at St. Thomas.
