Go Gophers!!

Anyone know if they replay this show later in the evening or overnight?

They just quoted Souhan's collumn. Hopefully it makes people angry across the country.

First guest was David Axelrod, who is one of Obama's senior advisors. He basically talked about funding research to cure it. I think he said his daughter has something related to it.

Then Keanon Cooper came on. Said he wasn't told anything about Kill disorder when he started coaching. His first reaction to Kill's first seizure was shocking, same with teammates. Said team didn't know much about epilepsy and what was going on. Kill's wife told everybody he was ok and to be calm. Keanon said Kill's done a great job dealing with epilepsy. Kill comes to work everyday and works his butt off. If, in rare occurances, he cannot be there, his coaching staff is well prepared to take over.

Samari Rolle and Alan faneca came on next, both former nfl players. Alan says biggest challenge is staying on top of your meds. Samari said rest. Both just talked about difficulties with the illness. Alan's first reaction to Kill was "it's a scary thing". Said the general public has wrong idea on what it is. He also mention "that reporter in Minnesota (souhan)" not knowing what epilepsy is. Samari - "Ease off of coach Kill and embrace him"

* Both these men looked really skinny fyi

These guys are killing Souhan. I'm sure they asked him to be on the show and he chickened out.

There's the understatement of the year Axelrod said Souhan is ignorant

Souhan is getting his medicine on national television. Everyone should be happy! Well done program, positive outlook, can only help the momentum Kill has built

Interesting and informative episode. They nail Souhan on several occasions and really commend Jerry for the great job he's doing at Minnesota. The doctor that was interviewed said "...and by all accounts Jerry has been very successful at Minnesota."

I'm sure Souhan will be so offended he will start his own cult with Kravitz

Looks like there are some heavy hitters lining up in coach Kill's corner, I suppose Axelrod, Faneca, and Rolle are just cult members too?
Souhan stepped in it this time, and the TC media/Kravitz are getting mud all over them for defending him like they have.
It would really be poetic if Souhan gets let go over this after his new editor is hired.

Nancy should have done it before she left.

I asked OTL for you and received this tweet:

Outside The Lines @OTLonESPN
@NadineBabu @ESPNprDScott @ESPNAndyKatz @GopherHole Will notify if we'll air the show again! Meanwhile, our daily podcast should be up soon

It was really a fantastic piece. So well balanced, getting a lot of different perspectives. It's very educational and I will post a link if they send me one.

But, but, but, but, I thought it was the cult made up of Gopher fans that only get offended by this?

How convenient. He has no problem interviewing with his friend over in Indianapolis, but when anyone wants to do a more neutral story, he's a chicken s**t.

Go Gophers!!

Anybody else see the irony here? Souhan was royally pissed that Teague didn't come right out and "face the music" after the game though he did later. Now Souhan refuses to face the music period.

Even the people who have had Jim's back have to see that.

Beautiful isn't it? :drink:

Souhan's column and his behavior this week have shown his true colors and revealed his character. No way in hell will he get another click from me.

Amen, jaymil. I have a sneaky feeling that there are more than a few GH'ers who feel the same way.

His articles and links to them shouldn't even be posted on this site again. Period. I never want to see anything from that pos again.

I'm usually more sanguine about the Twin Cities media than most, but I agree 100% here.
