Former University of Minnesota fullback Justin Valentine continues to position himself as a future NCAA head coach.

The 2008 graduate currently works as the running backs coach for Texas A&M-Commerce University, but more recently, he was able to begin networking skills at the NCAA Future Coaches Academy in Orlando, Fla.

I will say this

When our offense changed and he wasnt a big part of it anymore he didnt whine -at least publicly. . He took it like a man. I respect him for that.

That must have been tough for him. I was not a fan of Mason, but Valentine and Pinnix might have lost the most as individual players when Mase was fired.

Can you imagine going from a huge role in an offense to essentially nothing?

I am proud he chose to be a Gopher! I had the pleasure of meeting his mother briefly Justin's senior year. Based on what I observed, he comes from a fine family.

Valentine and Pinnix were/ are model Gophers.
