What's the O/U?Gophers open at -2.5, currently -4, vs. Maryland for Saturday’s game.
46.5. One showing 46, but stable for now. What's the O/U?
AgreeI have no doubt this will be a nail biter as most of our games are. We have to find a way to win this one.
Billy Edwards has 41 rushing yards through 7 games, or 5.9 yards per game.Maryland has a very good, kind of swashbuckling QB who can throw and run. Also one great WR. If we can contain the QB and force him into an errors, I like our chances. If our defense lets Maryland run wild, I think we probably lose the track meet. Go Gophers.
55 attempts so it looks like he's gotten sacked a lot?Billy Edwards has 41 rushing yards through 7 games, or 5.9 yards per game.
4 TDs, and 2 fumbles.
Sacks count as negative yards in college football rushing.
For example, Max Brosmer has -16 yards rushing this year. 4 TDs and 4 fumbles.
Sack the QB multiple times and we win.
Bigten.org used to be better for finding stats but now is a mess with their new format. According to Maryland's site they have given up 14 sacks this year but have lost 130 yards on those 14 sacks. So my guess is that when Edwards gets sacked it is after he scrambles around some and ends up taking a bigger loss.55 attempts so it looks like he's gotten sacked a lot?
Of course! Just did it for effect. You don't have to say that any more. You can just scream GAMBLE GAMBLE GAMBLE
I got the Gophers at -3.5 just now, getting a little extra at -105. Which tells me the line's about to go to 3.
