The comparison is pointless and the situations and expectations for Claeys would be different than those for Fleck.
Fleck was hired to move the program in a new direction and he’s doing that. He was given the keys and our AD bought into Flecks schtick hook line and sinker.
He will get time to show what he can do.
He has a point that he’s trying to make with his bs about not caring about wins. It’s poorly made, repeatedly, but like the Honey Badger, PJ Fleck don’t care.
It’s unfortunate, but he’s digging his own hole. If he can climb out of it, no one will remember how asinine he sounded in year 2. If he can’t, he may not be a HC again. Either way it’s all on him and the results. Wins. Recruiting. Culture. Will bear out no matter what he says or thinks. It will be what he does.
