Fleck said there are no excuses but reasons why the team didn’t win today. Goes on later to mention that they are playing lots of new players.

He’s not wrong, but doesn’t that fall on him and his coaching staff?

Lol, and that's why it's time to move on. Every coach has lots of new players he has to play. Good coaches coach up the talent and you see improvement as the season moves along. This team seems to get worse as the season goes on. Just more excuses from the snake oil salesman on his ninth year. Word salad.

You loved their effort?
You loved your running back jogging with the ball and an open field? Not even attempting to block for a teammate? Perich running out of bounds on purpose on the last kick return? Zero sacks?

You loved that?

Well, thank fucking God they finally played Nelson and got 74 out of there.

Offense and Defense hasn't played complimentary football all year. Can't sustain long drives, can't get off the firld. The portal was not fruitful for the Gophers this year. Worst part is the defensive tackles are both seniors and we are very light at defensive end in terms of size and depth. Defense has played to much football, but some of those issues are self inflicted. Not fixable this season, the defense I don't think. It's beyond confidence shot.

"Complimentary football" is such a stupid phrase used by people who want to sound more intelligent than they really are. Form over substance.

I had already told Mrs. Billd no bowl game this year 'cuz not a good chance we'd win an away game.

Low football IQ

I don't like Fleck's excuses in year 9. He makes 7 million bucks, highest paid employed of the U. Every program plays new players every year. Make better choices in hires, and coach better, is that too much to ask?

Sorry - no more excuses - mediocrity is too easy to defend- Coyle needs to look hard at where we are
