He waited way too long to make a statement. Glad he finally did and it a good message, but way too late. People singing his praises for leadership today related to this, are simply wrong.

No, you're simply wrong. Far better that he devote his time and energy to "team, staff, parents and recruits" than blanket statements for fans. Zero complaints from me.

It's a crazy complex topic to address.

Even just addressing things like understanding frustration / hopelessness and at the same time taking issue with rioting is such a fine line to wander and so many people hear one thing or another and will get upset by it or worse try to turn someone into a piriah for their own purposes ... sometimes it seems like there's no good way to address such things.
 



This is one of those topics that I would have been fine had he not made any public comments, but appreciate the statement he made.
