So now that he sat out the Cal game and got the BYE week in addition, he'll be back today, right?
As is AJ TurnerHe’s been ruled out per Pete Thamel
He might be done for the season. As has AJ Turner
Mo 2.0. Let's go!Ijeboi time!
ThisEven when Taylor played last year, probably half of the time he was gimpy. If we can’t rely on him I hope he chooses to go pro next year and we use the NIL elsewhere.
That’s really too bad about Turner. He was a home run guy. A change of pace. I was looking forward to watching him. NIL money for him didn’t work out. Wonder what the injury is.It’s official. AJ Turner is out for the season.
I’m guessing he won’t be back till Purdue. Why play him against Ohio State? So now that he sat out the Cal game and got the BYE week in addition, he'll be back today, right?

I hope we have overrectuited him by now.A pair and three spares. LeCaptain time? Gophs version of a Swiss army knife...
Yeah, Taylor will have to prove he can stay on the field before he will have any real pro potential beyond being undrafted and making a team that way. No team is going to blow a draft pick on a RB who can't make it through a full college season even if he is talented as Taylor clearly is.Pro?
He has ability, but that isn’t uncommon in many college backs. I find his draft potential iffy, at best, based on his lack of durability.
Still remember Bud schooling El Sid when discussing Rick Fenney.
“Sid, he’s got all the ability in the world, but that doesn’t matter if you can’t stay on the field. Durability is just as important as ability.”
Bucky was a 4th round pick by Tampa, after completing three seasons without any significant injuries IIRC and putting up monster numbers in his sophomore (1,357 total yards & 13 TDs) and junior seasons (1,593 total yards & 13 TDs).
Outside of the RB position we are in good shape heading into this one. Hopefully our remaining backs can hold up and we don't have a situation like a few years ago where we had to get to #5/#6 on the depth chart at a key position.
More accurately should’ve said pro or otherwise including transfer.Yeah, Taylor will have to prove he can stay on the field before he will have any real pro potential beyond being undrafted and making a team that way. Agree, but I wouldn't mind seeing a little of Washington or Ford (#5 and #6) today.Outside of the RB position we are in good shape heading into this one. First thought: If PJ was more open about injuries, there is no way Vegas would have put the Gophers as a 5 point favorite.
Close to zero chance of the NFL for Taylor. He still is our best offensive player by far though.Yeah, Taylor will have to prove he can stay on the field before he will have any real pro potential beyond being undrafted and making a team that way. Oregon could afford to use Bucky that way due to all the other weapons they had. We don’t have that same luxuryDT is not a pro prospect as it sits. Scat back who can’t stay healthy is not screaming pro potential. He’s a 10-15 touch a game kind of guy. Wish PJ would use him as so. There’s a reason Bucky looked like a beast at Oregon doing exactly that

Absolutely. He gets a lot of nagging injuries and I think he'll benefit having an NFL strength and conditioning staff.A healthy DT is definitely a NFL running back. He's also much bigger than Bucky.
