Dre looking good...team looking terrible...missed FT...two fouls on the most important player in the line-up for Minnesota (Elliot)...Washington won't be cold for very long. It's frustrating to see the Gophs simply not take advantage. I mean, the opposition is 1-for-8 with 3 turnover in five-plus minutes and you have a meager 3-point lead.

Let's go Gophers! Time to turn the offense on!!!!

I don't want to knock a guy who's hurt, but that said, Ralph at 50% is still a viable back up for 15 minutes.
 


Nice run once the starters came back (shocked) but gotta keep this up and we are in good shape. The guys are playing great defense and moving the ball well on offense.
 







These refs are making some outrageous calls. These calls against Eliason and Ingram when they're playing defense and the paint are ridiculous. They are bodying their guys up--perfectly legal.
 

Washington can't be accused of playing B1G defense. Hopefully EE, Ingram and Rodney can keep from fouling too much in the second half. Refs are calling things rather tight. Good effort so far on both ends o the floor.
 

Great first half...great effort, did a very nice job of taking care of the ball and I love the pace we are playing.

That was one of the worst reffed halves of D-1 level basketball I've ever seen! Embarrassing. They called a bunch of touch fouls, yet obvious hammer fouls they left be time after time after time.

That said, the Gophers fully deserve the 12-point halftime lead. Where is Julian's court awareness on defense though? Man he's lost (soooo often) - no excuse to give up that wide-open 3 at the buzzer.
 

Looks like UW made the trip all the way to MSG yet still can't get up for a game...been a constant problem all year. This UW team is such a head-scratcher. So undisciplined. So little effort. Such confusion on offense and defense. This has been the trend all season. Yuck.

Minnesota is Udubs kryptonite. Small fast players all over the court. Reminds me of the SDSU and Colorado blowout! I feel another one coming
 

Yes, tempo, tempo, and the UDub has to hoist the three even when well guarded. Can a team like WA play playground most of the year and suddenly turn on the D after a 15 minute half time speech? Tough order.

Why? Is it because Andre has control over his own body and can stay upright for an entire offensive possession? I'm excited for EE's future but he's awful today.

Are you serious? Awful? He's not as good as he's been, but he's def not been awful.
 

Win or lose tonight......Who is this Gopher team playing in the NIT? This is not the same team I have been watching all year. Nice end of the year turn around -Impressed!
 

I effin' love Austin Hollins, even if he does remind me of Red from the movie Friday.
 


Love the effort and physical play that Ingram has given us the last couple of weeks. He has benefited from this NIT run more than any other player.

ESPN.COM has UW with 43 points while the TV has them with 42.
