We'll never know. End of discussion.

Many things are discovered in retrospect. The team was wildly inconsistent from week to week is it is,
even with the DC change. Had it been made 2-3 weeks earlier, possibly 1-2 wins. Maybe we'd be 7-5. The
problem would have needed to rear its head first.

Hard to tell as the entire team where learning through failures. Not just the Defense. The Maryland, Illinois, and Nebraska routs may still be loses at a closer margin. The young team is going through a baptismby fire. They were getting better each game albeit in subtle ways.
