VENICE, FL – On vacation this week, so keeping this one short and sweet. As a Gopher fan I have a bad feeling this will be the last time the Gophers appear in our weekly Field of 68 projection. With games this week @ co-Big Ten leader Michigan State (Wednesday) and home vs. Iowa (Sunday), the #68 NET Gophers certainly need a split to hang around Projectionville for at least another week.
We have 18 new teams in the field, highlighted by new at-larges Indiana, Memphis, Texas A&M, and Utah State. Automatic qualifiers (team with best conference record and/or best NET ranking) from multiple-bid conferences are noted in bold.
