ROAD TO SELECTION SUNDAY, MN – As we enter Week 8 there are 14 new entrants to the Field of 68, including at-large selections Kentucky, LSU, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State. Among those dropping out are Colorado, Colorado State, and Georgia, which has a shiny #20 NET ranking but has yet to defeat a Quad 1 or Quad 2 opponent. Twenty-one teams in the field have four or more Quad 1/Quad 2 wins, led by six apiece from Arizona (4/2), Gonzaga (3/3), Michigan (4/2), Nebraska (1/5), UConn (4/2), and Vanderbilt (3/3).
Automatic qualifiers in multiple-bid conferences (noted with an *) hold the best conference record or, in the event of a tie, best NET ranking (in parentheses).
