Predicted inclement weather for the end of this week has caused a change to two Gopher Football-related events. The student event Field Frenzy, which was originally scheduled for Friday evening, and the Gopher Football Youth Clinic, which had been slated for Saturday, will both be postponed.
The Field Frenzy event for students will now be held Thursday, April 21 at TCF Bank Stadium. The event will be held in conjunction with the Gophers' final spring practice session before the Spring Game. The first 500 students in attendance will receive a free stadium blanket, drinks and pizza. All students in attendance will have the opportunity to hear head coach Jerry Kill address them after the Gophers' workout.
Field Frenzy is scheduled for 3-5 p.m. on April 21. Students may enter TCF Bank Stadium through Gate C. There is no charge associated with this event.
The Gopher Football Youth Clinic will now be held on Friday, April 22 at TCF Bank Stadium. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with registration running through 6:30. From 6:30-7:30 p.m., kids will be taking part in skills and drills with Gopher football players. An autograph session for all kids in attendance will be held from 7:30-8 p.m.
