-- Texas redshirt junior forward Cam Heide (52.7% 3PFG) and St. Thomas redshirt junior forward Carter Bjerke (46.1% 3PFG) were teammates on the 2021 Wayzata High School (MN) state championship basketball team. That's a pretty lethal frontcourt shooting combo from long distance!
-- #47 USC defeated #32 Indiana 81-75 in a crucial bubble-on-bubble matchup in Los Angeles. Freshman Alijah Arenas led the Trojans (17-6, 6-6 Big Ten) with 26 points. Lamar Wilkerson had a game-high 33 points and five treys for the Hoosiers (15-8, 6-6 Big Ten), who had their three-game winning streak snapped. USC star Chad Baker-Mazara played only 20 minutes after leaving the game with an apparent knee injury. His future playing status is uncertain.
