If I recall, didn't Vandy refuse the Titans request to sell beer when they wanted to use their stadium as a temporary home? Has that changed?

The Titans played at Vandy in 1998.

Beer sales started in 2019. I would say the vast majority of D1 schools have allowed beer/alcohol sales in this century.

I have multiple NDSU fan/alum friends that view an annual visit to Frisco as tradition. They didn't know what to do with themselves last year.

Ah, that makes sense then. I just remember that was one of the reasons they played in Memphis for one year (and nobody showed up).

Nashville is a much better destination than Frisco.

Their semi-finals teams: Montana State, South Dakota, South Dakota State, and North Dakota State. They precisely made my point/prediction and again exposed what a regional and increasingly unimportant and broadly uncompetitive bracket/subdivision it is.

Who cares about the rest of the country right here in our backyard there is great football being played by these teams. It’s highly entertaining and on any given day any of the four could compete well against the vast majority of the higher division teams. I think this is a testament of a great subdivision conference or two vs. an indictment of anything else.

Both things can be true. It is very entertaining football. But the FCS has largely dwindled down to geographically remote northern and western teams while the southern schools have mostly moved up to FBS.
