Obviously Fisch will be gone before the bowl game, likely along with the oline coach. Some mental musings Brew will be having on the bus ride home...

Well, Jedd, I hope you've enjoyed your college coaching internship here at Minnesota. It's been real. We've certainly enjoyed your re-introduction of the vaunted fullback dive into our offensive scheme this year. Haven't seen that since the 60's. Too bad it doesn't work on 4th down or inside the 5 yard line in 2009.

We've also been vastly impressed with your tweaking of our formerly effective quarterback's throwing motion. In previous years, he could actually get the ball near a receiver. This year, well, not so much. That glove trick was pretty cool, I must say. 99% of all teams actually play better in week 12 than week 1; how you've regressed the offense over the course of the year has been masterful, in spite of overwhelming odds. That is not easy, true talent you have.

Finally, although we have no push up front on our oline (note to self, draft a similar letter of "resignation" to "what's his nuts" who coaches our oline), your dedication to try and run between the tackles is very admirable. You are loyal to that scheme and someday it will serve you well, assuming you have actual talent to work with and work coaching football again.

Are we having fun yet? This job sucks.

Fisch will be here until the end of next year.......

Unless he decides to quit when he figures out he is in way over his head or the team is just so dysfunctional on offense there is nothing he can do anyways.
