This guy had a really tough start when he came in as a freshman and had to start before he was probably ready. He's been terrific and has developed into a smart and wonderful player.

I remember when he committed as a walk-on that people here were excited about him influencing Cam Wiley to commit. Who would have thought then that Jordan would be the impact player and Cam would be gone today?

Howden has been a great player for us. I was also impressed with the play of Coney Durr in the bowl game. WVU went after him at least a couple of times. I recall two long passes on consecutive plays in which he had perfect position on both. And executed pass break-ups on each.

Also these guys walked into a situation with enormous shoes to field in Antoine Winfield.

We'll have really good (and versatile) safeties next year.
