ESPN's David Pollack says women don't belong on College Football Playoff committee

Reminds me of an old timer about 30 years ago. Claimed there were two things that didn't belong of a golf course. Pine trees and women.:cool02:

hold on, who drove the beer cart if it wasnt a beautiful young lady?

You think that if you had a pop quiz and asked Tom Osborne to list the AP Top 25 and the starting QB of each team he'd do better than Beth Mowins would? No way.

He may know more about kicking women basketball players off scholarship for reporting assaults by his star players, but there's no way he's an expert on 2013 college football beyond Nebraska or perhaps the Big Ten.

I suspect if given the task he will take seriously and probably knows a little more about the subject than the token woman talking head.
Pollack is finally right about something.

As for Rice, Tony Barnhart suggested her addition to the committee back in May.

"This is my wild card to keep everybody in the room on their toes," Barnhart wrote. "If Dr. Rice could have had her pick of jobs after serving as Secretary of State, she would have been commissioner of the NFL. She knows football. She is also one of the newest members of the Augusta National Golf Club. Having her intellect and judgment in the room would be a plus."

How the hell does being a member at Augusta make you more qualified?
