Go Gophers!!

Interesting to see Nebraska and Penn St ahead of us. Maybe I'm just a homer.. Maybe it makes sense because of our tough crossover games making our margin of error in West games smaller.

I'm both a homer and find that off as well.

Also considering OSU and MSU are in their division, they would need to finish ahead of both of them which together have a 90.2% chance of winning the Big Ten Title.

Question.. these percentages add up to way over 100%, are these all strictly based on a per team basis, not the overall league chances to win the Big Ten Title?

They weren't listed as percentages, they were listed as odds (gophers 18-1), I think bleed just converted into percentage chance they will win based off how the odds were set.

Vegas does not make odds based on % chance of who they think is going to win. They make odds to spread the bets out equally. Michigan, Nebraska, Penn St are all big names that will likely garner betting action even at the lower odds

That makes sense. I read the "per espn" at the top of the OP but not the sports book part.

If you think the Gophers have a 30% chance at winning the West and then a 20% chance in a hypothetical matchup with OSU or MSU then you'd still be getting good odds. Those percentages would equal 6%, Vegas is only making you pay for 5%

We should really be ahead of Michigan and PSU because at least we have a chance to be playing in the game.
