per ESPN:

Wild, wild West: Last season's division race kept us guessing, and this year figures to be no different. Five teams legitimately have a shot here, and we'll see two key matchups Saturday. Minnesota (3-1) travels to Northwestern (4-0), while Iowa (4-0) heads to Wisconsin (3-1). Obviously, it's still early to start naming favorites. But a win this weekend certainly provides an advantage and gets the victor started off on the right foot.

Go Gophers!!

Those two matchups will definitely give us a sense for how things are going to shake out in the West. If any of those teams can come away with a convincing win it might set the tone that they are the team to beat in the West.

I'd say it's a must win for the Gophers b/c of the crossover schedule. We don't have the good fortune that Wisconsin and Iowa have in playing two bottom feeders of the East.

Pretty much have to sweep the west assuming the gophers split against OSU/Mich

I like our chances
