per Bennett:

If you were to sum up the Jerry Kill era at Minnesota in one symbol, it would be a red arrow pointing up.

The Golden Gophers have gotten better in each of Kill's first four years at the helm, culminating with last year's trip to a New Year's Day bowl game, the program's first in more than half a century. They took back or kept rivalry trophies against Iowa, Michigan and Nebraska.

But that arrow has only gone so far upward. For all its recent success, Minnesota has yet to win a bowl game or take down a true marquee opponent in the Kill regime. That's why Thursday's home game against No. 2 TCU looms as a potential next step for the program.

"This is a chance for us to make a statement," running back Rodrick Williams Jr said. "We can show people what Minnesota football is all about."

Go Gophers!!

It appears that Bennett is acknowledging "The Chair" vs. Nebraska, which is ok by me. Definitely not a dink.

Sadly the U isn't recognizing the Chair as it was not at the State Fair when I went on Monday. I was very sad.
